Matt was funny. He loved joking around with his dad. He spent some time in Alaska working on fishing boats. He loved his 3 kids with all of his heart. He loved the elderly. He took care of his elderly Aunt, bathing her and caring for her. Often he would be carrying someone's grocery bags to their car. He struggled with addiction and tried but just couldn't get the monster to let go.
He and his dad went to the ball game. The traffic was backed up and his dad got over in the right hand lane only to find out that they were behind parked cars. His dad told him he didn't have to tell anyone. Big mistake!! He couldn't wait to get home and tell me how funny it was. We were in the pantry laughing when his Dad opened the door. We laughed.
His laugh and His shenanigans. Always had great stories. Not sure how many were true, but usually funny.
Being a great Dad.
